Bidyear uses a single login per person. Capabilities (bidder, seller) are added to your profile — you do not create a second account.
Become a seller (existing bidders)
- Open /account/become-seller (or use Become a Seller on My Plan).
- Accept seller terms and click Enable seller tools.
- Choose a subscription at /pricing if you need to list auctions.
- Create auctions in /admin or open the seller hub at /account/seller.
Switch workspace
When you have both roles, the account sidebar shows Bidding and Selling buttons. Bidding mode focuses on /account (watchlist, invoices). Selling mode opens the seller admin dashboard or seller hub.
Self-bidding blocked
You cannot bid on lots or auctions you (or your team) own. This prevents conflicts of interest.
Tip: Sellers still need a payment method on file before bidding on other sellers' listings.
